This past weekend’s overnight trip to Klagenfurt, Austria—part of our expanded travel program—was a great success. Students enjoyed a full schedule of activities and sightseeing, including a scenic cruise on Wörthersee Lake, breathtaking views of Carinthia from a 100-meter (328 ft) viewing tower (see photo below), and a visit to a miniature park featuring more than 150 famous architectural landmarks from around the world.

“It was a really nice experience getting to know new people from the school and to learn more about Austria as we live here,” said 11th-grade student, Sasha P. following the trip. “I really enjoyed seeing beautiful Lake Wörthersee in Klagenfurt. The view was amazing, and it made the whole trip to Klagenfurt even more special and memorable.”
