  • Arrival Days

    Boarding students for the 2023-2024 school year should arrive and settle in during these two days.

  • Orientation Day

    The day begins with a general orientation meeting for all students and parents at the Musikerheim behind the school campus. Following the orientation meeting, students will pick up their academic schedule, textbooks, P.E. uniforms and locker assignment. For any questions regarding Orientation Day, please contact Mrs. Gundringer in the front office.

  • Fall Excursion: Paris, France

    Twice annually—in the fall and winter—students at AIS-Salzburg are invited to join us on excursions to destinations around Europe.   • End of Fall Trimester

    This is the last day of the trimester. Grade reports with commentary will be sent out to parents the following week. Students should plan for a busy week leading up to this day.

  • Winter Break

    Students are off school early on Friday and must depart the school by Saturday at 22:00. Please inquire at the front office for more information.

  • Winter Trimester Awards Ceremony

    Sternbräu Restaurant Griesgasse 23, Salzburg, Austria

    Every year at the end of trimester 1 and 2, students are treated to a formal dinner at the Sternbrau restaurant where they are recognized for their academic and athletic accomplishments over the course of the trimester.

  • Winter Excursion: Zell am See

    Like the fall excursion, this is included in the full AND five day boarding tuition.   • Spring Break

    The school closes during this time. Students must depart the school by Saturday at 22:00.

  • Commencement

    Schloss Kleßheim Kleßheim 1C, 5071 Wals, Salzburg, Austria

    Traditionally held at the Kavalierhaus at Klessheim Palace, the AIS-Salzburg Commencement is our annual event where our seniors receive their high school diplomas.

    It is the end of the school year for Junior High students as they depart for their summer holidays. Junior High students must depart the school by Saturday at 22:00.
