AIS-Salzburg AP® Students Post Best Results in Five Years
July 14, 2026
Our students turned in an outstanding performance on this year’s AP® Exams. Of the 43 students who sat exams this spring, 95% earned a score of 3 or higher — the highest pass rate AIS-Salzburg has recorded in the past five years, up from 85% last year.
Five subjects posted a perfect 100% pass rate: German, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Chemistry, and Psychology — with our Calculus BC and Psychology students also outperforming the global average by wide margins. Strong showings also came from Human Geography (88.9%), Precalculus (93.3%), European History (91.7%), and Environmental Science (90%), each topping the worldwide pass rate for their subject.
Across all 119 exams taken, 86.5% resulted in a passing score, and our seniors led the way with an 87% pass rate heading into graduation.
Congratulations to our students and the dedicated faculty who guide them through these rigorous, university-level courses — AIS-Salzburg has offered the AP® Program since 1983, and results like these continue to reflect that tradition of excellence. Learn more about our AP® Program here.
