Fall Trimester Awards Ceremony

Sternbräu Restaurant Griesgasse 23, Salzburg, Austria

Students are treated to a formal dinner at the Sternbräu restaurant where they are recognized for their academic and athletic accomplishments over the course of the trimester.

Annual Awards Ceremony

As the final exam week approaches, AIS-Salzburg annually holds a year-end award ceremony to recognize students for their cumulative academic and athletic achievements over the course of the school year. Orientation Day

The day begins with a general orientation meeting for all students and parents at the Musikerheim behind the school campus. Following the orientation meeting, students will pick up their academic schedule, textbooks, P.E. uniforms and locker assignment. For any questions regarding Orientation Day, please contact Mrs. Gundringer in the front office.

Photo Day

Students, teaching faculty and staff get their photos taken by a local professional photographer.

DVAC Boys’ Soccer Festival in Bratislava

Our Lions travel to Bratislava to compete in the Danube Valley Athletic Conference Junior Varsity Boys Soccer Festival. Those traveling will miss Friday afternoon classes.  

DVAC Boys’ Volleyball Festival in Budapest

Our Lions travel to Budapest to compete in the Danube Valley Athletic Conference  Junior Varsity Boys Volleyball Festival. Those traveling will miss the entire day of school on Friday.

Boys’ and Girls’ Volleyball in Salzburg

The International Christian School Vienna and will travel to Salzburg to play our boys' volleyball team and both our JV and varsity girls' volleyball teams. The event will take place at Sportzentrum Rif from 11 AM to 3 PM.

Boys volleyball at St. Gilgen

The boys volleyball team will travel to St. Gilgen for a friendly competition against the cross-Salzburg rivals. They will depart the school at 3:15 pm for a match starting at 4:30 pm.

Winter Break

Students are off school early on Friday as of 12:40 and must depart the school by Saturday at 22:00. Departures should be scheduled no sooner than Friday at 13:00.

32nd Annual AIS-Salzburg Basketball Jamboree

Sportzentrum Rif Hartmannweg 4/6, Hallein, Austria

Since 1990, AIS-Salzburg has hosted a boys and girls basketball Jamboree in March which features teams from international schools from around Europe, typically out of Austria, Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, and Switzerland. https://youtu.be/DrOF2EUfA8g

AIS-Salzburg will hold its 9th annual 'Sports Day' at the RIF Olympic Center.
