Salzburg History and Culture

Salzburg3All new students to AIS-Salzburg are involved in two weekend events (Sept. 12 and 19) which are designed to introduce them to their new home-away-from-home. Salzburg, Austria has a long history and great tradition of culture and the arts. Through guided tours and visits to important sites in the city and region, this requirement is intended to give our students an insider’s view of this beautiful city. We want our students to know the important historical events, traditions, and cultural aspects that make this city one of the favorites of world travelers. New day students as well as any returning students are also welcome to participate in these events. There are no costs associated with this requirement.
