Winter Excursion Moved to Ultimate Indoor & Outdoor Playground

The four-day winter ski excursion has been moved to the Zell am See region from the original plan of the Lungau region, allowing us to bring our entire student body to one location as opposed to a separate, non-skiing group going on an excursion to Vienna as in previous years.
“Due to the Covid situation, the hotel in Lungau was unable to offer us the conditions that we had previously worked out in 2021 and would cover health-risks adequately,” said Headmaster McLean yesterday. “However, the new venue in Zell am See should be an improvement over what was previously organized, with fantastic options for both our winter sports enthusiasts as well as non-skiers.”
The new location is a youth hotel/resort with a multi-purpose sporting facility tailored towards youth. The Youth Club Kitzsteinhorn provides for a number of alternative activities for non-skiers, both indoor and outdoor. Options available directly at the hotel include basketball, beach volleyball, climbing, trampoline, high ropes course, bowling, cinema, a games room and more. Outdoor options include ice skating, sledding, and a guided snowshoeing tour. The hotel is located at the doorstep of the Schmitten Ski Resort and is not far from ski glacier Kitzsteinhorn, both of which our skiers and snowboarders will enjoy during our stay.
All Winter Excursion expenses, except for lunch daily, are included in full- and five-day boarding tuition.
