The teachers at the American International School-Salzburg are an outstanding collection of experienced and highly-qualified instructors who see their profession as a calling and not simply a job. In comparison with most international schools, AIS-Salzburg is blessed with a very long-term faculty who live and reside in Salzburg, Austria permanently.
Teaching faculty members are not required to live on campus and are not required to provide supervision in the dormitories. For this, the school has a separate and distinct resident staff. This allows the teachers to focus on that for which they are trained and qualified; teaching courses at the college-preparatory level.
The teachers provide instruction during five periods of the school day as well as office hours at least three afternoons per week for individual tutoring and guidance. They are also highly conscientious and more than willing to provide the parents of our students with timely and accurate information concerning their child’s progress.
