In providing a well-rounded educational experience in an international setting, we seek those who are adaptable to change and interested in the broader world around them: its peoples, cultures, variations, and modern challenges.

Although academic success is a critical foundation upon which further, university-level study may depend, we wish to emphasize that individual, scholarly achievement is not all that we require of our students. We engage them in activity, involve them in competitive athletics, encourage their artistic development, and seek to further their sense of contribution and assistance to the community. The students who are successful at our school are those who have broad interests and the discipline and self-restraint to keep their eyes set on worthy goals.

The American International School-Salzburg is pleased to accept applications throughout the school year and does not set a deadline for submission.
