The resident counselors who make up the resident-care staff are responsible for the well-being and appropriate development of our students outside of academic hours. They live in the dormitories and are individually responsible for one floor of boarders. In addition to their supervisory duties, the resident counselors coach team sports, instruct physical education, lead excursions and direct a wide variety of weekend and evening activities.
Many of our resident counselors have attended and graduated from some of the most prestigious universities and colleges in the United States and bring with them a wealth of experiences and knowledge about university life and academic success. Because many are single and under 30 years of age, the resident counselors bring with them a great deal of energy and enthusiasm. Many become very influential role models for our students and provide them with exemplary dedication, active participation, and involvement.
